CANDIDATE ( Passive or Active)? Deciding if you are an active or passive candidate is the first step in your next career move. A passive candidate typically has a job but is looking for a future opportunity. An active candidate is either unemployed or ready to move. The next step is registering in our portal and submitting your resume to apply for a Government Contracting job. You can submit your resume against a specific opportunity (posting) or you can submit your resume against a general posting. Our process is highly automated so you won’t wait days for a response. Some postings will ask you supplemental questions. These postings have very defined parameters and will generate messages after the tool has evaluated your responses – so you will have a response in a few minutes to a few hours. Other postings require a human to perform the evaluation and it will take a few days but you will get a response. You can submit your resume to multiple postings and it will not effect how your qualifications are evaluated. Openings
